If they choose, they can call the court at (254) 750-5900 and we can verbally provide them their newly assigned reset court date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note: <\/strong>If you have been issued a citation, we encourage you to use the safe drop box for payment (located to your right when you enter into the Community Service and Municipal Court Building) or the online system provided. We will continue to evaluate the situation and should we need to extend dates further, we will post here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-pale-cyan-blue-background-color has-background\"><strong>Courtroom Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Before entering the courtroom, the Court Bailiff\/Security Officer will ask you COVID-19 related questions before your entry into the courtroom.<\/li><li>Please maintain social distancing. The Court Bailiff\/Security Officer will assign you to a courtroom seat. Please do not bring other persons with you for courtroom appearances.\u00a0The only exception is if you are set for a Juvenile Court Docket which requires a parent or legal guardian present.<\/li><li><strong>All individuals entering the courtroom will be required to wear face coverings at all times.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-pale-cyan-blue-background-color has-background\"><strong>Vulnerable Population<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on the information gathered from the Center of Disease Control and Prevention, those at high-risk for severe illness from COVID-19 are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Persons 65 years of age or older &#8211; or &#8211; Persons who live in a nursing home or long-term care facility<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Persons of all ages with underlying medical conditions, particularly if not well controlled, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Persons with chronic lung disease or moderate to severe asthma<\/li><li>Persons who have serious heart conditions<\/li><li>Persons who are immunocompromised<ul><li>Many conditions can cause a person to be immunocompromised, including cancer treatment, smoking, bone marrow or organ transplantation, immune deficiencies, poorly controlled HIV or AIDS, and prolonged use of corticosteroids and other immune weakening medications<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Persons with severe obesity (body mass index [BMI] of 40 or higher)<\/li><li>Persons with diabetes, chronic kidney disease undergoing dialysis or with liver disease.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Individuals who are in the vulnerable populations may contact the court to identify themselves as a vulnerable individual and request accommodations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Accommodations may include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Conducting proceedings remotely<\/li><li>Separate time or date for an in-person hearing<\/li><li>Written Appearance<\/li><li>Emailing official court forms (to be signed and returned by Defendant)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Contact the City of Waco Municipal Court at: (254) 750-5900 or by email at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:citycourt@wacotx.gov\">citycourt@wacotx.gov<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-pale-cyan-blue-background-color has-background\"><strong>Court Location &amp; Hours<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mailing Address:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>City of Waco Municipal Court<br>P.O.
