Marketing Director
Waco Transit is seeking a career minded individual for the position of Marketing Director. Applicants must possess a strong background in outside sales and marketing. The qualified applicant must be able to provide excellent customer service, analyze issues and resolve them in a professional and courteous manner and possess strong communication skills.
The applicant must also have a working knowledge of computers. Graphic design skills are preferred, but not required. Applicant must also be able to create press releases, coordinate and manage annual special events, and be comfortable managing various B2B relationships.

Transportation Supervisor
Waco Transit System has an immediate opening for a career-minded individual for the position of Transportation Supervisor. Experience in the passenger transportation industry is preferred, but not required. This is a supervisory position that involves dispatching and monitoring buses and drivers. This position is responsible for scheduling details needed to provide efficient bus service for citizens in the area served. Supervision includes all of the activities of bus drivers in operating situations and investigation of customer complaints about drivers and bus operations.
The qualified applicant must have a basic level of computer experience and be able to analyze issues and resolve them in a professional and courteous manner along with having the ability to implement organizational procedures, and requirements with respect to safety and operational policies. The qualified applicant must pass a D.O.T. physical/ drug screen and have a minimum of 5 years experience as a licensed driver and be willing to obtain a Class B CDL license.

Full-Time Fixed Route Bus Operator
Waco Transit has immediate openings for Fixed Route Bus Operators. This position is responsible for providing fixed route service to the citizens of Waco and surrounding communities in a safe, courteous and timely manner. Applicants must have a friendly, positive attitude and be willing to provide minimal assistance to passengers when necessary. Salary begins at $12.65 per hour after training is completed and includes two raises within the first year.
Experience in the passenger transportation industry is preferred, but not required. The qualified applicant must pass a D.O.T. physical/drug screen, background check and have a minimum of 5 years experience as a licensed driver. A Class B CDL license with Passenger Endorsement is required.

Part-Time Van Drivers
Waco Transit System has immediate openings for part time van drivers. The service consists of transporting clients to and from appointments in a safe, courteous and timely manner. Drivers must be available to provide a door-to-door type service while providing minimal assistance to each client. Transportation is normally provided using cutaway vans, minivans or sedans. The qualified applicant must pass a D.O.T. physical/ drug screen, background check and have a minimum of 5 years experience as a licensed driver. Salary is $12.40 an hour, after training and consists of approximately 25 hours per week. No CDL is Required!

Diesel Technician
Waco Transit has immediate openings for full-time Shop Technicians with varying levels of experience for the Evening Shift (3:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.). Excellent pay, paid holidays, vacation, 401K and health and dental insurance available. Experience in the passenger transportation industry is preferred, but not required.
